An
Interview with Yehuda Shinar
"The
beauty of Yehuda's model is its simplicity and adaptability. Whether
you want to be more successful in sport, in business, or in your
personal life, I believe you can adapt Yehuda's model to make you think
like a winner; to give you that crucial advantage over others."
-
Sir Clive Woodward OBE, London 2007
Yehuda Shinar is the
Israeli
coach who was approached by Sir Clive Woodward in 1999 to help him
build a World Cup winning rugby team. Since then Yehuda has
successfully implemented his Winning method into a number of UK
organisations including the Scottish Institute of Sport Foundation, The
Royal Bank of Scotland, Blackburn Rovers FC and Capital Radio.
Yehuda has decoded
the apparently complicated art of winning into a basic science, and
developed a set of winning behaviours that can be
taught, practised, measured, controlled and coached.
On
Wednesday 5th December you have a unique opportunity to attend an
interview with Yehuda Shinar
in London.
Yehuda
will be interviewed by Bob Harvey, the former UK public speaking
champion, who will chair the event
Bob
will talk
to Yehuda about the development of the Winning methodology,
and how it is being applied successfully today in a number of UK
organisations. During the interview, Yehuda will disclose the 12
Winning Behaviours
that all successful Winners exhibit, and explain how
they can be taught and refined.
Shinar’s
book “Think Like a Winner” has just been published
by Ebury
and a Winning Game has been developed as a tool to analyse, develop and
hone Winning skills. Over time it gives users the same mental model and
equips them with the same set of strategies for Winning used by
professional executives, athletes, fighter pilots and other
high
pressure, success oriented occupations.
Shinar will be joined on the platform by clients from the sporting and
business fields who have applied Winning in their own organisations for
a Question & Answer session, and there will be a demonstration
of
the Winning Game, together with an opportunity to try it for yourself.
“The
insight and experience that Yehuda brought to the team has meant that
my management team think and act better when they are under pressure.
Their results since the series of Winning seminars have improved
dramatically and I see the principles taught as a key aspect to this "
-
Paul Fox, Regional Operations Manager, Royal Bank of Scotland.
“He’s
not a business guru, consultant, motivator, performance director, or a
psychologist, but there are elements of all of these”
-
Graham Watson, Scottish Institute of Sport Foundation
“Working
with Yehuda has been an extremely challenging and rewarding experience.
I can see that his approach and methods can benefit many sectors of our
society not only in Sport.”
-
Bob Easson, Coach for Scotland’s Rugby Sevens team
"Yuda's
Winning model and method is not complicated; it uses simple thinking
techniques available to all, and importantly, these can be practised
and improved. The real success of his method is demonstrated
by the fact that after each session with Yuda, our performance as a
team has improved measurably."
-
Kevin Dobbing, National Westminster Bank

It’s
all about communication.......
Do you hide
behind Fortress Lectern or can you engage in a conversation with an
audience of, say, 500?
Presentations
and public speaking are skills that anyone can learn and perfect with
practice; it’s not a magic touch. You can do it!
Bob
Harvey started speaking as a nervous amateur but rose to become the
British Public Speaking Champion in 2003. He now works as a corporate
scriptwriter and coaches executives
in all the skills associated with
speeches, presentations, negotiations and every type of inter-personal
communication.
If you
want to reach the top echelons of business, you need to be totally
confident as a presenter. You want to be able to craft a
well-structured, logical and convincing presentation that holds the
attention of your audience; you want to know how to conquer any
nervousness, connect with your audience and convince them with your
arguments.
You will learn all of these
skills at Bob Harvey’s Masterclass in Presentations and
Public Speaking
This
interactive training workshop is a one day module and is specifically
designed for both corporate and institutional executives who
are
required to make presentations either internally or
externally.
Participation is
limited to a maximum of 12 delegates, who will work together to develop
and critique presentations on random topics.
Outline
Agenda
This
is a highly
interactive workshop, working in pairs, groups of three and
individually. You will design and deliver a presentation on a topic of
general interest, on a typical business theme and on random, unprepared
topics.
By
the end of
the workshop you will emerge as a confident and convincing presenter
able to connect easily with the whole of your audience.
The packed agenda covers the
following areas:
- Why content
is critical
- The four
key elements of every presentation
- The
importance of the WIIFY factor
- Why every
presentation starts with a brain dump
- What
Hollywood learned from Aristotle
- The
Goldilocks Principle of story-telling
- The Sudoku
System of structured presentation
- The
Beethoven Imperative of creating emphasis
- The
difference between what you should put on a slide and what you should
put on a handout
- Why it is
essential to be nervous
- How to
connect with everyone in the audience
- Staying
credible in the aftermath
Places are available on this
workshop at £475+VAT per delegate. To book call 015395 30671

In today's competitive world,
great client service is the primary differentiating factor. The
telephone is still one of the best business communications tools and

So, doesn't it make
sense to provide some professional coaching in telephone skills that
will really set your organisation, and its offer apart?

In addition to this
role Rob has also delivered and managed telephony system design and

It's first impressions every
time!
Mercedes, BMW, IBM,
Rolex, British Airways and Coca Cola create products that they export
across the world.
Hollywood creates
images that they export across the world.
Both products are real
– one is concrete, the other abstract.
One is more influential
than the other!
Images - branding -
precede product! People buy product after the picture.
And
the first and most powerful impact of the initial picture is Colour.
Whether it's business casual or
the AGM, the question is, "Do your colour choices support and define
you and your work, or do they undermine your position?"
Colour is a lifetime
tool to enhance your visual credibility for both career and personal
benefit.
The wrong colours make
you look tired, drawn, pale and unwell. The right
colours ensure you look healthy, dynamic, energetic and vital.
Strengthen your image
and enhance your communications and organisation through strategic use
of Colour
People make subconscious judgements about people, environments and

that judgement is based on colour alone
